Inner South of Brisbane
The inner south is the name given to the group of suburbs that sit immediately south of the central business district. There is no set rule as to which suburbs make up the inner south area, however they generally include suburbs such as Highgate Hill, Southbank, South Brisbane, West End, Carina, Carina Heights, Woolloongabba, Dutton Park and Camp Hill.

There are a number of private and public schools in this area and its surrounds. South Brisbane is a major centre for education, arts and culture.
