Trams service Royal Parade, Lygon St, Mt Alexander Rd, Nicholson St, St Georges Rd, Abbotsford St , High Rd, Smith St and many more which cover the whole inner north. Trains are unavailable for the majority of this area however buses connect to the nearest train stations.

The main thoroughfares that connect and run through this area to the rest of Melbourne are Westlink, Citylink, Flemmington Rd, Princess Highway, King St, Peel St, Curzon St, Victoria St, Princes St, Alexandra Parade, Queens Parade and the eastern Freeway. The road system allows the residents to commute into the city or to the suburbs in an efficient and easy way.
