Western Sydney

Western Sydney is one of the fastest growing areas in Sydney. It is the name given to the group of suburbs to the west of the central business district. Western Sydney includes 14 expansive local government areas which include:

The Western Suburbs has a well established infrastructure system of roads, rail, schools and hospitals.

The train network is very large and expansive with the vast majority of suburbs being very close to a train station and all commercial centre’s equipped with rail connection to anywhere in Sydney. The bus system is also very extensive with both private and public bus companies servicing the western suburbs. It is also possible to catch a ferry to Parramatta which is one of Sydney’s main central business districts.

Main artery roads from the city include Victoria Rd, M4, M5 and M7 motorways, Western Motorway and the Great Western Highway.

The Government is investing billions of dollars every year to keep western Sydney moving, for water recycling projects, hospitals, schools and colleges, police and fire stations. The rate of growth in Western Sydney is staggering as it is a great option for families wanting to live outside of the main city but still remain very connected.
