South Western Sydney
South Western Sydney is the name given to the group of suburbs south west of the central business district in Sydney. There is no set rule as to which suburbs make up this region, however they generally describe the local government areas of The City of Bankstown, Canterbury, Liverpool, Campbelltown and Camden Councils.

South western Sydney is rapidly growing with a large portion of Sydney’s future population predicted to settle in the region. Campbelltown is now a significant regional centre; Liverpool has become a major commercial hub and is gaining strength as one of Sydney’s central business districts whilst Bankstown and Canterbury remain a symbol of Sydney’s diverse melting pot of nationalities.

Infrastructure:
South Western Sydney is very well serviced by Public Transport. Residents using the train have several options. The Bankstown, Inner West, Cumberland, Airport and East Hill and the South Lines all service the region with train stations in many suburbs. To complement the trains, Western Sydney Buses and other bus operators, service the area with constant buses to move the people of this region to their destinations.
Residents with cars also have several main roads connecting this area with the rest of Sydney. The South Western Motorway/Freeway, Hume Highway, Westlink,M5, M7, Western Motorway and Cumberland Highway connect south western Sydney and make commuting to the city convenient.
Bankstown, Liverpool, Camden, Canterbury and Campbelltown all have major hospitals with many other smaller facilities spread throughout the region. There is a mix of private and public medical care.
